Petanque Group

"Petanque is a simple and very social game and you do not need any skill to enjoy yourself. We have a core of experienced players who are always willing to assist new players to pick up the rules and tricks of the game.

We play every Wednesday afternoon from 2 p.m. until about 4 p.m. during the summer months when the weather is fine, at the Dorchester Bowls Club at Sandringham Sports Centre (Dorchester Bowls Club) at the end of Armada Way - click here to see a map with an arrow showing the venue.

There is no charge except for the usual U3A contribution of 50p and you do not need to bring anything with you apart from flat shoes and a ready smile.
