This group is starting work on another quilt to be raffled for charity when finished. Our first quilt is shown below. The 25th Anniversary collage can be viewed by clicking here. We raised £260 at the Christmas Fayre plus £60 from the bookstall at last year’s barbecue which resulted in a cheque for £320 being presented to Julia’s House Children’s Hospice on behalf of the Dorchester & District U3A. In addition, the unsold items were given to Julia’s House to sell and they responded with a very nice letter of thanks. Margaret Pearce |
